001 // HIS EARLY LIFE: sam winchester was born on may 2nd, 1983 to parents mary and john winchester. at just six months old, sam was given demon blood by azazel, and his mother died trying to protect him: this left sam and his family into a life on the road, a life of hunting. sam's early childood was not an easy one, and was far from normal: his father was hell-bent on finding the demon that killed mary, treating his boys like soldiers rather than sons. sam was able to shoot a gun by the time he was six, a highly trained (and deadly) fighter by the time he was ten. without any place to truly call home, sam and dean grow used to living a life on the road: to sleeping in shitty motel rooms and the backseats of their dad's chevy impala. they never stayed in one town for more than three weeks, never visited the same town twice. he wanted nothing more than to be a normal kid, to have a normal life: to not be a freak.on sam's sixteenth birthday, he begins to exhibit supernatural abilities: it started off simple, nothing more than blurry visions and strong sensations. in an attempt to remain normal, trying to distance himself from the term "freak," sam attempted to suppress his abilities. as sam continued on throughout his teenage years, his abilities continued to grow stronger, despite his attempts at suppressing them. by the time sam graduates from high school, his abilities are stronger than he can contain, and visions/other abilities become painful to suppress, leaving him with body aches and migraines. in an attempt to fake normalcy, to run from his family and his own nature, he applies to different colleges across he country, where he inevitably attends stanford university.002 // HIS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: for the majority of sam's freshman year at college, he worried what would happen if his abilities got out of hand: for this reason, he remained rather introverted, avoiding large social gatherings and events. he spent the majority of his time in the library and his dorm room, until his roommate, brady, forced sam to go to a party with him. it's there that he met jessica moore: she was beautiful, smart, and she accepted him for all of his flaws. being around jess made the aches stop, made the headaches lessen, until eventually, they disappeared completely. assuming his abilities stopped altogether, sam allowed himself to become more social.about a year into their relationship, jess and sam move in together: a small apartment just off-campus, with rent entirely covered by his scholarships. it's then that he gets to experience the normal life he'd never had: where school and grades were most important, where he didn't have to consistently look over his shoulder. without much of a family to rely on, sam grew extremely close with jessica's parents, where he spent most holidays.it's four years into their relationship that his past comes rushing back: the visions begin again, this time far more painful than ever before. sam is left bedridden for days, sometimes up to a week, and the visions begin to happen more frequently. first, about his father and brother: about a life on the road with them. then, about jess: about her burning on the ceiling the exact same way that mary did. he chalks it up to nothing more than painful nightmares, and ignores the problem. sam gets an interview at the stanford law school, hopes for another full-ride scholarship, a way to begin his new path with his new family. he buys a ring, with every intention of proposing to jess after his interview. then, dean returns.john had gone missing, had been on a hunting trip for a little too long without contact. sam knows this is normal, but he goes along with dean, anyways. it's weird -- being back on the road with his brother, searching for a man that didn't want to see him. part of him missed it: being around dean, having a family. but he goes back to stanford anyways, pursues his new life over the old.until his apartment burns down, jess pinned to the ceiling. then everything changes.003 // HIS CAREER AS A HUNTER: after jess' death, sam decides to return to a life of hunting: to follow his father's path and find revenge on the demon that took everything from him. he begins to work on his abilities behind dean's back, hoping to utilize them to his advantage when he gets the chance: he still experiences body pains when suppressing abilities, and now experiences residual migraines after every vision/use of his abilities. he and dean travel across the country to find their father, killing everything evil along the way. it feels like an endless task: searching for their father, trying to find out the truth behind jess' death (behind mary's).along their travels, sam and dean find more people like sam: both good and evil alike. people gifted with unexplainable abilities, people with gifts like his: his list of questions only grows longer and longer as time goes on. then, he's kidnapped, thrown in the middle of nowhere with special children like him. it's there that he finds out the true source of his powers, it's then that he learns there's demon blood flowing through his veins. sam swears to never use his abilities again, believes that they stem from evil incarnate. he refuses to be the one thing he despises, refuses to become a monster. then he dies, killed at the hands of someone he thought to be an ally: jake talley.004 // HIS DOWNFALL: in a moment of pure emotional distress, dean makes a deal with a demon: sam's life for his own. little does dean know, the person that he brings back isn't entirely his younger brother. in the time between his death and his resurrection, sam's soul was sent to hell. in violently returning sam's soul to his body, sam's soul was tainted, fractured of sorts. the longer his soul remains on earth, the more twisted it gets, until eventually, his soul becomes completely dark and evil. then, ruby comes along, with promises of bettering the world, of helping sam gain control. ruby soon becomes the devil on his shoulder, pushing sam towards his higher purpose: towards his spot on the throne in hell.by season four, sam's soul is almost completely tainted, darkened in a similar way to ruby's own. towards the end of the season, sam begins to push everyone close to him away -- including dean (because, despite everything, dean is the only person sam couldn't hurt). sam begins to fully embrace his abilities, to strengthen them (without the use of demon blood), and he moves on to become one of the most powerful beings in the universe. using his abilities, sam tracks down all of the hunters that previously tried to kill him for his abilities, killing them as an example of what would happen if anyone crossed him again.in season five, sam never says yes to lucifer, but rather fights with the devil himself in an attempt to gain his rightful spot as king of hell. in the final battle against the prince of darkness, he wins and becomes the rightful king of hell. this victory is extremely short-lived: as dean kills sam on his new throne.

001 // HIS EARLY LIFE: dean winchester was born on january 24th, 1979 to parents mary and john winchester. on november 2nd in 1983, the winchester house burned to the ground -- mary trapped on the inside. upon mary's death, john takes the boys with him on the road, pursuing the demon that killed his wife. dean's early childood was not an easy one, and was far from normal: his father was hell-bent on finding the demon that killed mary, treating his boys like soldiers rather than sons. without any place to truly call home, sam and dean grow used to living a life on the road: to sleeping in shitty motel rooms and the backseats of their dad's chevy impala. they never stayed in one town for more than three weeks, never visited the same town twice. dean was deemed his brother's protector, his brother's watchman: he was unable to live his own life, always worrying for his little brother. until his brother leaves for college, until sam disappears from his life for good.002 // HIS LIFE OF HUNTING: after sam leaves, john disappears, too. without the favorite son around, john seemingly had no desire to stick around. john checks in on dean occasionally, gives his son a new monster to track, a new case to solve, a new order to follow. there was only one rule dean was meant to obey: don't visit sam. of course, he broke that rule every time he was in the california area, every time he was able to drive through campus without sam knowing. even so, things were never the same. dean desperately craves for things to return to normal (as normal as their lives had ever been), for their family to reconnect. so, he goes to stanford: ignores his father's wishes in pursuit of his brother. then, sam's girlfriend dies -- the same way that their mom did -- and things go back to the way they used to be. sam and dean against the world, tracking down their father together. they could be a family again.but everything changes when dean almost dies in a car crash, when john makes a deal with the yellow-eyed demon for dean's resurrection: the colt and john for dean. he can't live with the fact that his father died because of him, that even in death, john was somehow able to remind dean to watch after his brother.003 // HIS DOWNFALL: sam is kidnapped and killed, an unfortunate reminder that the winchester boys would never be able to achieve true happiness. out of desperation, dean makes a deal with a demon, similar to his father's own: his soul for another, dean's soul for sam's. only given one year to live, dean spends his last months on earth doing everything he can to fulfill the family legacy: saving people, hunting things, the family business. upon his death, he spends four months in earth-time torturing souls in hell, only to be revived by the angel castiel. upon his return to earth, he learns that his brother has begun to tread down a path of darkness.it is his duty to fulfill his father's dying wish, to make sure his brother does not walk the earth as a monster. in season five, after sam claims his place on the throne of hell, dean kills sam. not long after, he kills himself, for fear of living a life without his one purpose.

001 // HER EARLY LIFE: matilda diana bates was born in 1327 to parents eleanor and hugo bates, a black woman borne to a peasant family in the slums of durham in england. her childhood was not an easy one: her family did not have enough money to feed the entire family (rather, all ten children had to share portions for three). she was constantly hungry, dirty, and longing for a better life. both her parents were always working, as were her older siblings. by the time matilda turned ten, she was considered old enough to start working for her keep: it started with menial house tasks like laundry and dishes, but by the time she was twelve, she had been employed by a local seamstress. at such a young age, her pay was better than that of her parents, and things got easier for a while. until matilda turned sixteen, when her mom got pregnant again, and they had to prepare to feed thirteen mouths, not twelve. eleanor died in birth, a complication due to a lack of cleanliness, leading to her father in charge of the household. distraught over the loss of his wife, hugo becomes abusive towards his children, believing them to be the reason that eleanor died. over the years, hugo would beat and starve the children, spending most of their funds on liquor instead of necessities. when matilda turns nineteen, the black plague rapidly spreads through england, targetting durham the most: incapable of truly preparing for the pandemic, they continue to live in filth.during the pandemic, she lost two of her sisters and one of her brothers -- two to the hands of the pandemic, and one to the hands of her father. desperate for the means to help keep her family safe, matilda makes a deal with the demon astaroth in order to gain magical abilities.002 // HER LIFE OF WITCHCRAFT: unaware of the deal that she made (ten years for her powers), matilda used her magick in order to protect her family from the plague, and from the rage of her father. in a moment of rage, matilda killed her father after he tried to beat her. now in charge of the family, she continued to use her powers to generate wealth for the family: they quickly grew to become one of the most powerful families in england, aside from the royal family, and no longer had to worry about suffering from the black death. realizing that she now had (what seemed to be) infinite powers, matilda learned to use her body as leverage against the demon in hopes that she could gain more information about the magical world, as well as the full extents of her magick. she continued to use her abilities to protect her family from suffering at the hands of anyone, opening her own shop to help extend her abilities as a healer to those affected by the plague. when things finally started to seem normal, matilda died, and her soul was sent to hell.003 // HER TIME IN HELL: during her time in hell, matilda donned the nickname "ruby," after the crown jewel of england (from where she hailed): a name given to her by the demon astaroth, who sealed her deal. ruby's soul is tortured in hell for centuries, until she is able to continue to study with astaroth once more: this time, as a demon. she is incapable of remembering anything from her human life, and hopes that astaroth can tell her more about her human life. it’s then that their relationship becomes sexual again, all in an attempt for ruby to learn more about who she used to be -- who she had been before her humanity had been stripped away: all to no avail.it's in hell that she's approached by the yellow eyed demon, azazel: one of the highest ranked demons in hell. he offers her an escape, gives her a task with promises of the truth. if she watches over the younger winchester boy, prepares him as the true vessel for lucifer, she will be awarded beyond imagination. ruby swears to be lucifer's most loyal subject, a secret she must hold throughout her time on earth.004 // HER RESURRECTION: jake talley opens the gates of hell, and ruby is among the first to escape, fully intent on fulfilling her promises to the true king of hell. ruby finds an empty vessel -- a random jane doe that flatlined at the moment she was sprung -- and she begins her quest for the winchester boy. along the way, she tries to learn more about herself, about her life as a human (though, it proves to be a nearly impossible task when she barely remembers her name). then she meets sam winchester, makes false promises to help him gain control of his powers in an attempt to gain his trust, to grow closer to him. little does he know that she has ulterior motives of her own, steering him more and more towards damnation -- towards opening the gates of hell once more and starting the beginning of the end. but upon getting ot know sam, ruby realizes there's a lot more to him than azazel led on: he's a man who seems to struggle with his own humanity, unable to gain true control of his powers.005 // HER REDEMPTION: proud of the work that ruby had accomplished thus far (in between seasons 3 & 4), getting sam to use his abilities, lilith rewards her with the one thing she'd been searching for: the truth. using his abilities, he restores ruby's human memories, allows her to relive her life on earth. upon learning the truth, she begins to care for the winchester boy -- truly care for him. after all, he's a spitting image of her youngest brother, of the son that their father hated so much (the child that was blamed for her mother's death). sam, mixed with the reminders of her life on earth, begin to bring out the humanity in her once more: remind her of what it was like to feel. she begins to see the promise that sam holds, the purpose ahead of him: lucifer was never meant to be the true king of hell, sam winchester was.now, caught in between the promises she made to a king she used to worship, and the boy that she’s beginning to love, ruby has to make a decision. does she throw her humanity away once more for the father of all demons, or does she remain loyal to the man she has grown to love and fight for her humanity? does she follow the old world into chaos, or the new world into true power and freedom?

001 // HER EARLY LIFE: nora and hope mikaelson were born as tribrids (part witch, werewolf, and vampire) to parents hayley marshall and klaus mikaelson on may 2nd, 1965. both parents had exuded natural-born magical abilities: doctor brenner, upon hearing about the mikaelson family, began to enact human experimentation in hopes of special abilities from human children. eventually, klaus and hayley were hunted down by their communities for their inhuman nature, killed by their neighbors in mystic falls when nora and hope are no more than two years of age.klaus' younger sister, rebekah, relocates the twins in order to prevent them from harm (in case the twins exuded similar abilities to their parents). it's then that nora and hope are adopted by jason and amy harris with promises of a better life. in order to fully protect the twins, rebekah vows to remain out of contact until they are older: until she is sure that they are safe from facing the same persecution their parents did.nora and hope, now renamed jamie and marcy harris in order to protect their true identities, are raised in the harris household with two other siblings (mark and conway). after the girls turn four years old, their own tribrid powers begin to present themselves, similar to their parents. in an attempt to keep the girls normal, jason and amy harris begin to abuse the girls, beating them in hopes that their powers will disappear. when the twins turn six, they use their abilities and cast a spell together to burn down their home as a means of escape: jason and amy trapped inside, along with mark and conway.002 // HER TIME AT THE LABRATORY: the twins are then discovered by the hawkins national labratory, where they are mistaken as a result of brenner's own experimentations, and deemed pyrokinetics. jamie is deemed number 009, and her twin sister is deemed number 009.5, due to their similar abilities: the twins remain virtually inseparable until they turn ten, remaining together during brenner's experimental treatments. the two would play with 008 and 011 in the rainbow room as children -- the only true social interaction they got aside from playing with each other.once brenner learned the true extent of their abilities (that they were more than pyrokinetics, but tribrids), he began to use the twins as soldiers against russia and other warring countries. they killed for him, training them to use their abilities as a deadly force in combat.escape seems impossible, nonexistent -- but then, 008 gets out, and 009's perspective on the world changes drastically. at the age of fourteen, she plans her escape with her twin sister, and the two break free of the facility all but two weeks later.003 // HER FREEDOM: now able to walk free on earth, jamie and marcy do everything possible to learn about their pasts, of their lives before the facility, before the harris family adopted them. it's there that they meet rebekah, that the twins learn about their true heritage and their royalty status in louisiana. nora and hope change their names back to mikaelson, and they begin to control their abilities with the help of their aunt. it's there, in new orleans, that the twins are homeschooled, and they learn everything from history and english to social interaction (specifically with boys).now able to control her powers, nora returns to hawkins at age 18, desperate to learn more about the facility and the other children inside. during this time, hope remains with their aunt rebekah, traveling the country as she learns more about the powers they hold. due to their telepathic connection, nora and hope remain in contact, no matter how far apart they are. upon learning that 011 had also escaped, nora does her best to track down the young girl, all in an attempt to help protect her.

001: my iteration of stiles is canon divergent, and relatively headcanon based. i will predominantly write him when he is 18+ years old.002: stiles suffers from adhd, anxiety, ptsd, and depression. this will not be downplayed in any way, shape, or form. a lot of his anxiety and ptsd surround death due to the loss of his mother and his time possessed by the nogitsune.003: because of the reality of his life, stiles is extremely paranoid and does not trust others easily. similarly, he has repeated nightmares because of the constant exposure to death and the supernatural. despite repressing the memories of his mother, she still occasionally appears in his nightmares.004: stiles is very protective and doesn't back down easily, despite his entirely human nature. he does his best to face everything that is thrown his way, all in hopes that his brains will compensate for his general lack of brawn.005: that being said, stiles is extremely smart. he is just as smart and capable as lydia, but it is overshadowed by his impulsiveness a lot of the time (how adhd of him lmao). he also has a near-photographic memory.006: stiles does not drink alcohol until his senior year of high school -- even then, he refuses to get drunk due to his father's own history with alcoholism. that being said, stiles will predominantly smoke weed at parties, because it helps him focus and be productive. no longer able to take adderall, he begins to rely on weed in order to get tasks done.007: stiles continues to be partially dyslexic, even after the nogitsune leaves his body, and he begins to learn how to live with the dyslexia.

001 // his early life mieczyslaw 'stiles' stilinski was born on april 8th, 1995 to parents claudia and noah stilinski. stiles was diagnosed with adhd at age five, just before meeting and befriending scott mccall.when stiles was seven years old, claudia was stricken with dementia and began to hallucinate: she began to believe that stiles was trying to murder her, and became extremely paranoid around him, eventually attacking him before shutting him out completely. claudia died in the hospital where she was being treated, alone with stiles when he was nine years old.in an attempt to preserve his memory of her, stiles repressed all of the negative memories of his mother. after his mother's death, stiles and noah's mutual loss lead to the two of them getting closer. at age ten, stiles' mental illnesses begin to present themselves: beginning with anxiety attacks and ptsd nightmares. he begins to see a therapist to help him talk through his trauma, but he stops upon reaching high school.002 // his time in high school his father gave stiles the keys to his mother's jeep as soon as he was old enough to drive, which he used to carpool with scott every day to school. after scott gets turned into a werewolf, stiles works closely with his best friend in order to help scott control his abilities.as more supernatural creatures make their way to beacon hills, stiles begins to immerse himself in new information about the supernatural, until he practically becomes a walking encyclopedia. around the same time, stiles begins to smoke weed, realizing that it helps stave off his adhd, much like adderall did when he still had a prescription. he does his best to help scott fend off the incoming evils, along with the rest of scott's pack.003 // his downfall and resurrection on the dawn of stiles' seventeenth birthday, he got possessed by the nogitsune while his mind remains "open" -- his vessel remained attractive to the nogitsune due to the immense pain and strife from stiles' past. the nogitsune then used stiles in order to cause chaos and pain in his friend group, all in an attempt to gain enough strength to form his own corporeal body.after the nogitsune got enough strength to create his own form, scott and kira were able to defeat it. with the nogitsune gone, stiles attempted to fix everything that the nogitsune had wrecked, attempting to ignore the never ending guilt eating away at him.upon leaving beacon hills, stiles would go to law school in washington, dc, only to go on and work in an internship with the fbi. after concluding his internship, stiles went on to become an fbi agent, where he did his best to work normal cases and leave the life of the supernatural behind.

001 // HIS EARLY LIFE: james buchanan 'bucky' barnes was born on march 10th in 1917 to parents winnifred and george barnes. his younger sister, rebecca, and mother died in a car crash when he was eight years old, leaving his family distraught. it was not long after that he befriended steve rogers, who he then grew to protect and treat like a brother: due to steve's own misfortunes, bucky's father began to take steve in as if he were his own. the two remain close throughout their lives, until they get separated during the war.due to his father's influence, bucky grew up to be extremely athletic and an overachiever: he excelled in the classroom and played football in school. in 1935, at age 18, bucky loses his father in a basic training accident at camp lehigh, where his father was stationed. upon first hearing about the war in 1941, he went to enlist, all in hopes of making his late father proud: while steve was turned down, bucky became a sergeant and was assigned to the 107th infantry. he was then shipped out to camp mccoy in wisconsin to complete basic and sniper training, and it took nearly a four months before he returned to new york.002 // HIS TIME AT WAR: two years after his enlistment, bucky received orders that he would be shipped out to england for the war: in his last day before leaving, he went with steve to the stark expo. three months into the war, he and his infantry were ambushed by the wehrmacht troops in azzano, italy. another unknown german unit was dispatched to kill the wehrmacht troops, and subsequently, took all american soldiers as prisoners. this new army, hydra, used bucky's infantry as extra hands at their weapons facility in austria, where they were forced to aid in hydra's efforts against the war: it was there that he worked on the valkyrie for the red skull, along with other weaponry.in october of 1943, bucky became victim to subsequent beatings by colonel lohmer in hydra, leaving him unable to work. he then became a test subject for doctor zola, who continuously experimented on bucky: it was then that bucky received zola's own recreation of the super soldier serum. less than a month later, bucky was saved by steve: upon his return to allied territory, bucky (and his fellow prisoners of war) were given two months leave in london in order to recover from battle. in january of 1944, steve asked bucky to join him in his crusade against hydra, to which bucky agreed and joined the howling commandos. as the year progressed, bucky worked with the commandos in order to destroy many different hydra facilities, which prevented johann schmidt and doctor zola from completing their plans of world domination. he often worked as a sniper, protecting the team as they went in for battle.his last mission as a howling commando took place in january of 1945 (almost exactly one year after eh joined the group). in the midst of battle, bucky had fallen off the train and plummeted toward the danube river. his arm was severed in the fall by a discarded piece of the train, and (thanks to the super soldier serum) he was frozen in the ice from the river, presumed dead by all.003 // his downfall: while hydra searched for the body of steve rogers, they stumbled across the preserved body of bucky in the dunabe river. he was then examined for traces of the super-soldier serum, and his body was placed on cryostasis until 1954, when he was given a bionic arm: he continued to be a test subject for hydra, until they were able to suppress old memories using eletroconvulsive therapy. he was given mental implants, that were updated (along with his arm) regularly as technology advanced, and was used as an assassin. to prevent him from aging, hydra would keep him in cryostasis until he was needed again, and they would continuously erase his memory to prevent him from feeling emotions.during the late 1980s, bucky was brought to the red room in order to help train members of the black widow program and the wolf spider ops program. it was there that he met natasha romanoff, who he had a very brief relationship with, until bucky was deemed 'unstable' and 'too emotional' by hydra and placed back in cryostasis.004 // his retribution: after the battle in d.c. in 2014, bucky began to remember his past more and more. upon the downfall of hydra, he went into hiding, where he pursued more of his lost memories, hoping to learn his true identity. when he learns the truth, bucky is unable to deal with his own crimes, and turns himself in to the authorities in hope of punishment: instead (likely due to his efforts to make things right), he is mandated therapy and put on an indefinite leave of absence until sam wilson pulls him out.

001 // HER EARLY LIFE: bella was born on september 13th, 1961 to parents renée and charlie swan in seattle, washington. when she is merely three months of age, her parents get divorced, and bella is put into renée's custody. not long after, renée moved her and bella to downey, california to live with her boyfriend. when bella turned six, renée got a job in phoenix, arizona: renée and bella remained close during her childhood years (until bella turns eleven). as bella continued to age, her relationship with renée began to deteriorate: renée had always wanted to travel, something that she couldn't do with a teenage daughter. after years of remaining stationary, while her new husband got to see the world, renée began to resent bella's presence, thinking of her as a burden. when phil got signed with a new minor-league baseball team, bella decided to pack up and move out of the house. at age eighteen, with nowhere to go, she decides to shack it up in a friend's trailer. it's there that she meets joan jett, who she quickly befriends.002 // OUT ON THE ROAD: when the runaways grew famous and got signed by mercury records, bella was invited to join the bands on their tours by joan jett: for the first few shows, she had acted as a roadie and groupie, but then began to play in shows as a guitarist and singer. she and joan began to work closely on other musical projects outside of the band. bella had begun to succumb to the reckless rockstar lifestyle, following quickly behind joan: drugs, sex, booze, and repeat. after repeated cocaine usage, bella began to have weird dreams, to hallucinate and hear voices in her head: particularly, her mother's voice.the routine remained the same as the tour across the u.s. continued on, until bella passed out during a show opening for cheap trick. after being rushed to the hospital, it was revealed that bella was pregnant at 18: father unknown. she decided to keep the baby and carry it to term: she then returned to seattle, where charlie took her in until she had birth. unwilling to give up her new lifestyle, bella decided to leave the child with charlie and return to the band, where charlie then moved back to forks to get his parent's and brother's help.003 // HER REBIRTH: after her return to the band, bella began to start seeing another roadie named kristine. in 1980, kristine revealed herself as a vampire and offered bella eternal life: she then left the runaways in favor of touring the world with kristine and learning to control her new powers. in italy in 1992, the volturi caught kristine and killed her for a centurys old crime. aro asked bella to join the volturi in order to put proper use to her shielding abilities, to which she declined in favor of returning to forks to see her daughter again.her father, happily accepted her into his home, where she stayed with him and her now-13 year old daughter. her secret about vampirism was shared with her daughter and her father's kid brother. she did her best to blend into forks, disguised as amelia's older cousin: it's there that bella befriended jacob black, a local from the quilete tribe. over time, as their friendship developed (and as she grew to care for him more), jacob transformed into a werewolf for the first time at age 20. unable to hide the truth from him any longer, bella told him about her history: without waiting for a reaction, knowing that they could never be together, bella left forks behind.004 // HER TIME AT FORKS: in 2003, upon the return of the olympic coven, jacob called bella, asking for her help defending the town. she returned quickly, opting to scout out the new coven. it's there that she met edward cullen for the first time, and her perspective on everything changed forever.

001 // HER EARLY LIFE: maya fell was born on march 27th, 2012 along with twin brother ethan, to parents jennifer and brandon fell in their small home in mystic falls, virginia. her father, brandon fell, was the half-brother of logan fell, and the bastard child of a werewolf, though he never really got along with his family. it was at the young age of six years old that maya and ethan lost their father, the victim of a hit and run. completely heart broken, jennifer moves her family to malibu, hoping to make a new life for her twins -- one without the burden of their father’s death hanging over their heads.it’s only in malibu that the twins begin to grow close with one another, clinging onto each other as they move from school district to school district. with the unknown threat of an untriggered curse hanging above the twins, the pair find themselves in all sorts of trouble -- for ethan, it was fights ( ones that got the attention of both the school board and of their mother). for maya, her trouble was found behind a computer screen under the form of hacktivism. utlizing her appearance to the public as nothing more than a stupid cheerleader, maya is able to hide her true abilities, only confiding in the one person she knows she can trust -- ethan.002 // HER TIME IN MYSTIC FALLS: jennifer fell gets a job in mystic falls after the twins turn seventeen, the town where the two were born. while ethan throws a fit ( beachless towns are a drag ), maya sees it as a new opportunity to learn more about their family history. about their father, who they know very little about. so, maya keeps her head down when her twin fights with their mother over the subject, she even bites her tongue when their mother changes her last name back to her maiden name -- machado.she only speaks up on the subject when jennifer tries enrolling the twins to the local high school under the same name. maya isn’t entirely sure why their mother is trying to erase their father, trying to remove his presence from their lives, but she finally takes a stand. her name is maya fell -- always has been, always will be.it’s at mystic falls high that the twins make their rise through the ranks -- ethan as quarterback, and maya as head cheerleader. the two seem virtually untouchable, and she uses this opportunity to try and learn more about the town -- about her family’s history in it -- despite all of ethan’s wishes for her to just leave it alone. it’s only then that she realizes things are not adding up in this town, in the stories that the police are telling the public. missing persons cases going unsolved, mysterious disappearances and way too many animal attacks to count.upon raising her concerns to her twin, he asks her to just leave it be, to not raise any more trouble. but after playing the scrimmage game against the salvatore school, after ethan breaks his arm, maya knows that something is off with this town. with that goddamn private school. and she’ll be damned if she doesn’t find out the truth -- no matter how dirty or ugly it might be.

001 // HER EARLY LIFE: dionne davenport was born on october 20th, 2012 to parents wendy and steven davenport, and was named after dionne warwick. she grew up in beverly hills, and as the daughter of a multi-million dollar businessman, she has a relatively easy life. in elementary school, she meets cher horowitz (named after cher), who ends up being her best friend and biggest confidant. the two are virtually inseparable at all times, even in high school. it isn’t until freshman year of high school that she meets murray duvall, who remain in an off-again and on-again relationship until she moves to mystic falls.all of that changes on dionne’s 18th birthday, when things start getting weird. unexplainable things start happening around her : things start breaking whenever she gets mad, people start going missing for giving her the wrong look. she stops interacting with others ( even cher ), shuts herself out from the rest of the world around her, all in an attempt to figure out what the hell is going on with her. it’s only then that her father decides to tell her the truth about their family, about her history : she was a witch, and a mighty powerful one at that, stemmed from two long bloodlines of magic, both of which could be traced all the way back to the salem witch trials. of course she tells cher right away, explains the newfound abilities she’s been having, and promises to keep her friend updated as she begins to master her powers. but of course, that’s when dionne’s life changes forever -- she’s pushed out of her home and sent to some weird sleep-away school in ( the middle of nowhere) virginia.002 // HER TIME AT THE SALVATORE SCHOOL: she transfers from beverly hills high to the salvatore boarding school, where dionne is expected to learn how to master her abilities, to gain control over her magic. with nothing other than her family grimoire ( a book somehow bigger than her suitcase ), dionne struggles to figure out where her magic comes from, let alone how to channel it.she can’t help but say she hates it there, all the tough schoolwork and the little closet space. even with the single apartment that her dad was able to negotiate for her, she barely had enough space for half her closet!not only is she forced to leave her entire life behind -- a life full of risky car rides with cher and mall trips, of amex credit cards and endless walk-in closets -- but she is told that she isn’t allowed to keep in contact with anyone other than cher ( “the girl who already knew far too much ” as daddy liked to call her ). and that includes now-ex-boyfriend murray ( what a bummer ). on the bright side, there are tons of cute small-town virginia boys in the area to get along with. now dionne finds herself attempting to adjust to her new life, and trying to control her new abilities. and if her parents expect her to have everything mastered by christmas... as if.

isaac lahey was born on february 27th, 1994 to parents benjamin and isla lahey in london, england. he had a relatively happy childhood in the uk with his brother and parents: all that changed when isaac was five years old and isla was diagnosed with stage two lung cancer. the family then moved back to beacon hills, where benjamin was born and raised: he began to take over the family business at the beacon hills cemetery, along with picking up some shifts at the local high school, all in hopes of supporting the family. on isaac's eighth birthday, isla was deemed terminal, and she died five months later.completely distraught over the loss of his wife, benjamin began to drink every night and shut himself away from his sons. isaac and his brother camden grew used to taking care of one another, until camden graduated from high school and enlisted into the army when isaac was twelve years old. when he realized that isaac was relying on him, his father began to sober up and grew a lot closer to isaac.when isaac turned fifteen, benjamin got isaac to begin helping out around the house and at the cemetery. when he and his father got news that camden was killed in battle in afghanistan, benjamin began to shut himself out again. once the alcoholism took over again, isaac became the victim of his father's abuse, all under the guise of making isaac a "better man." during a late night shift alone at the cemetery, isaac met derek and gets turned into a werewolf in order to help fend off the abuse from his father.it's then that isaac learned the truth about his father, and the abuse that his older brother had to endure for years before leaving for the military. wanting to break free from his father, he vows to leave and move in with derek, until jackson (as the kanima) murders his father. isaac then joins the hale pack in order to better himself, later joining the mccall pack in search of the same goal.

001 // HIS EARLY LIFE: steven grant "steve" rogers was born on july 4th, 1918 to poor Irish immigrant parents sarah and joseph rogers. as a young child, he would witness his mother being abused by his alcoholic father: his mother would excuse his father's behavior, claiming that it was because of his ptsd from the war. whenever his father would abuse his mother, she would always stand back up: she instilled this idea that getting back up was always the right thing to do. his father died when steve was six years old, but he didn't mourn his loss very much: instead, he began telling people his father died in world war one, believing it to be a far more noble way to die. at age nine, he befriended his classmate bucky barnes, who would always defend him against bullies. one of their teachers, edna crosley, instilled the idea that it was their responsibility (as americans) to protect their country: it's because of her, not his father, that steve decides he wants to become a soldier.his mother began to grow more and more sick due to tuberculosis, until she died in 1936, a year after bucky's father had died. the two, now orphaned, began to rely on each other more and more. upon learning about the second world war, they began to train together at goldie's boxing gym: bucky, the far more athletic one of the duo, would teach steve all that he could. upon their visit to the us recruiting and induction center in new york, steve was rejected from service and placed into class 4f due to his frail stature and unerlying health issues. while bucky went off to basic training camp, steve continued to try and enlist into the army, until he was noticed by the eyes of scientist abraham erskine, who gave him a chance.002 // HIS TIME during the war: after passing all of the tests given to him at basic training, erskine picked steve to become the very first super soldier. despite his enhanced abilities, steve was denied recruitment to the army and was instead used as a tool for propaganda within the united states, given the moniker "captain america." upon learning of bucky's unit's disappearance, steve went against orders in an attempt to save his friend's life: after successfully freeing all of hydra's prisoners and destroying the facility, steve led the soldiers back to safety and was donned a hero. from there, he formed the howling commandos, where he spent nearly two years battling hydra and destroying their facilities: it's during that time that he believed to have lost his best friend, bucky.during his final battle against the red skull, he boarded the valkyrie in an attempt to stop the red skull from bombing cities around the world. upon realizing the plane cannot be stopped, steve puts it into the ocean, where he is frozen for seventy years.003 // HIS resurrection: upon thawing out from the ice, nick fury slowly helps steve reintegrate into society -- his first mission was to help protect new york city. it's there that he found a new team: the group that called themselves the avengers. he works closely with the avengers, considering them his newest family, for a few years before learning the truth about bucky's disappearance. in an attempt to save his best friend, steve risked his reputation and career in order to help bucky run from the police and the avengers. after assuring that bucky (along with his other friends), were safe, steve went into hiding until the avengers were reassembled.004 // his downfall: after the events of endgame, steve offered to bring all of the stones (along with mjölnir) back to their respective places in the timeline. instead of staying behind with peggy, like in canon, steve had every intention of returning to his own time -- unfortunately, he was caught by surprise while returning the last stone. he is able to return to his own time, but only after receiving a fatal blow to the chest: it's in his own time that he dies in bucky's arms, his final wish that bucky and sam carry on his legacy.

bobby finstock was born to parents elaine and william finstock on november 18th, 1975. his mother died due to complications childbirth, and he would be raised by a father who continuously blamed him for her death. at home, he was physically and verbally/emotionally abused by william, and bobby grew up with extremely low self esteem because of it: william would continuously tell bobby that he was a "waste of space" and that he would "never amount to anything important." upon reaching high school, bobby joined the lacrosse team in an attempt to prove his father wrong, where he would later go on to play in college at duke university until he received a career-ending acl injury. not long after, his father died in a car crash, leaving bobby entirely alone for recovery: it's then that he starts drinking.two years after his father's death, bobby decided to move away from his family home in north carolina to live in beacon hills, california, where he got a job as a teacher and a lacrosse coach. it's there that he hopes to beat his own alcoholism, while simultaneously hoping to find his own meaning in life (one stripped away entirely from his father's disapproving gaze).

courtney kindsley-quinn was born on june 27th to parents mary kindsley and ray quinn, ironically the same day as love and forty quinn: out of spite, mary gave courtney the quinn last name. the daughter of an affair, courtney never really knew her father, nor the quinn siblings. her mom got money each week as child support, and court received her own allowance in order to keep her mouth shut about her father's affair. her mother grew unhappy with their situation, becoming physically and emotionally abusive to courtney, blaming her for the lack of ray's presence in their lives. at age sixteen, she killed for the first time: her own mother, of all people. in a desperate attempt to try saving her own ass, courtney reached out to ray for the first time -- in exchange for her continued silence (to avoid tarnishing the quinn name), he offered her the best lawyers that the quinn family had to offer, and the death was swept under the rug, deemed nothing more than an accident.she uses the money that her father left her to move to california, where she bought a victorian house on loma vista lane: everything in her wanted to remain as close to the quinns as possible, despite her father's wishes. courtney started going by her middle name "rachel" by those in her life and on her personal social media account, though she never really grew close to anyone. entirely alone in an unknown city, courtney tries reaching out to love and forty without any success, believing that it was because they hated her for her very existence tearing their family apart (long before it had even truly begun).feeling entirely alone, courtney shuts everyone out and begins to write about her own experiences with her mother's death. it didn't take long for the book to be published (penname removing the quinn from her name, as per her father's behest): addicted to the fame, she began to turn to alcohol and drugs in hopes to boost her own inspiration. when none of it worked, she decided to quit the substance abuse in favor of the true motivator that started it all: murder. courtney knew she had to be smart about it, knew that she wouldn't be able to kill around home (around the quinns). she creates a social media presence under her birth name, but introduces herself as "rachel kindsley quinn" to the people she meets in hopes of remaining some level of anonymity in her everyday life.instead, she decided to list her home as a bnb and relocated to europe: it's there that she's able to start a life for herself as a serial killer (after all, nobody expects a naive rich white girl tourist). she starts off murdering the people that follow her, the people that try to leech off her own success: slowly, she begins killing those who grow close to her in her travels, the ones who least expect it. her single novel soon becomes a book series, marked as fictional narratives, set entirely around the killings of an unknown murderer in europe.around the time that joe goldberg comes to town (as soon as henderson goes missing), courtney decides to move back to la in hopes of finding out the truth about her own family. it's then that joe goldberg breaks into her house, and everything changes: viewing it as a sign that she should become a part of love and forty's lives, she finds permanent residence in angelino heights, hoping get closer to the family she never knew.
